Homework for Monday the Seventeenth!
English	1. Do your Draft 3 of your English composition, whether it is a reflection, a partial rewrite or full rewrite. DO NOT type out. 2. Bring 2 newspaper articles tomorrow that have dialogues / conversations in them. Highlight these dialogues / conversations.
Mathematics	1. Finish your Maths Alternative Assignment. 2. Worksheet 5.1 for those that have not handed up. (Tip for Question 4: Leave the two equilateral triangles intact. Move only one shape.)
Sciences	1. Re-file your stuff if you have got back your file. 2. Bring the worksheet about the rolling balls (Oops?) tomorrow. 3. For all who have forgotten / have not (I bet is zero) submitted the file, concept map or ERM 1 you may file it in straight into your file by tomorrow and submit.

Grandfather paradox

You go back in time to kill your grandfather. While you are there, you discovered that your grandfather had gone back in time to kill his own grandfather. You travel further back in time, only to see that your great-great-grandfather's house is empty because HE had gone to kill his grandfather. You travel even further back in time thinking that your grandfather had done the same, only to find that your great-great-great-great-grandfather's house is empty. There is a pool of blood on the ground, but you are not dead yet.

Who was killed in his house?

This is the true story of George Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi, who was going to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the shed. George opened the door to go turn off the light but saw there were people in the shed in the process of stealing things.

He immediately phoned the police, who asked "Is someone in your house?" and George said no and explained the situation. Then they explained that all patrols were busy, and that he should simply lock his door and an officer would be there when available.

George said, "Okay," hung up, counted to 30, and phoned the police again.

"Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people in my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I've just shot them all."

Then he hung up. Within five minutes three squad cars, an Armed Response unit, and an ambulance showed up. Of course, the police caught the burglars red-handed. 

One of the policemen said to George: "I thought you said that you'd shot them!"

George said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"
