JOTD

 UPDATE SECOND PART!!!!!

A teacher wanted to test his students on historical facts.
The teacher asked,"Once, someone asked Napolean Bonaparte for the meaning of the word 'impossible'. How do you think Napolean answered him?"
The nervous student looked at the teacher blankly as he knew nothing about history. He muttered something that the teacher could not hear him and asked him to speak louder.
The student plucked up courage and blurted out, "I don't know."
"Absolutely right!" the teacher exclaimed, "He said, I don't know because there is no such word in my vocabulary!"

POEM OF THE DAY

The Lady of Shalott: Fill in the blanks.

And by the moon the reaper weary,
Piling sheaves in uplands airy,
Listening, whispers, " 'Tis the fairy
Lady of Shalott."

She knows not what the curse may be,
And so she weaveth steadily,

And little __________ hath she,
The Lady of Shalott.

All in the blue unclouded weather
Thick-jewell'd shone the saddle-leather,
The helmet and the helmet-feather
_____________________________,
As he rode down to Camelot.

Out flew the web and floated wide,
The mirror crack'd from side to side;

"_____________________," cried

The Lady of Shalott.

"Who is this? And what is here?"
And in the lighted palace near
Died _____________________;
And they crossed themselves for fear,
All the Knights at Camelot;

But Lancelot mused a little space
He said, "She has a lovely face;

God in his mercy ____________,
The Lady of Shalott."

Next up, we have our Yo Mamma jokes coming up! No offense...

YO MAMA SO FAT SHE FELL IN LOVE AND BROKE IT

YO MAMA SO FAT HER PORTRAIT FELL OFF THE WALL

YO MAMA SO FAT, SHE SURVIVED AN ATOMIC BOMB EXPLOSION FROM HER POLO SHIRT.

YO MAMA SO UGLY WHEN SHE THREW A BOOMERANG IT WOULDN'T COME BACK.

YO MAMA SO DRUNK SHE ASKED HER POP TO BUILD A HOT BATH ON MT VESUVIUS.

YO MAMA SO BLIND SHE POURED A DROP OF CYANIDE INTO HER EYE (thinking it's eye-mo.)

YO MAMA SO HUNGRY SHE ATE HER INTESTINES.

George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and George Bush are in a plane.

The pilot says that the passengers must lighten their load. so the three presidents decide to drop one item

George Washington drops a quarter

Abe Lincoln drops a penny

George Bush drops a grenade

When the presidents land, they find someone holding their head and cursing.

George Washington asks the man what's wrong.

"i was walking down the street when a quarter falls from the sky and hits my head!"

So the presidents continue down the road and find someone hopping on one foot, holding the other, cursing. Abe Lincoln asks "What happened?"

"i was standing on my porch barefoot when a penny falls from the sky and hits it!"

The presidents continue once more and find a young boy laughing hysterically.

George Bush asks "What's so funny?"

The boy replies "i farted and my house exploded!!!"

(LOL) I spent quite a long time trying to figure out the lyrics but failed miserably, can you help me?

All the leaves are brown
and the sky is grey
I've been for a walk on a winter's day;
I'd be _______ and ________ if I was ______________
California dreaming on such a winter's day...

Stepped into a church; I passed along the way
well I got down on my knees, and pretended to pray;
You know that ________ likes the cold he knows was I'm gonna stay.
California dreaming on such a winter's day...

(BLAH BLAH BLAH)

All the leaves are brown
and the sky is grey
I've been for a walk on a winter's day
If I __________________, I could leave today:
California dreaming on such a winter's day

(BLAH BLAH BLAH REPEAT BLAH BLAH BLAH REPEAT)

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
So...here's the prank list of the day!

1. Find a random friend of yours that is MALE. IMPORTANT: MALE.
2. Sing this song (Big big world):

[CHORUS] You're a big big girl in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if I leave you;
But you do do feel that you do do will
Miss me much...miss me much

[VERSE 1] You can see the first leaves decaying
It's all brown and stinky;
It's so very cold inside, like the way you're defrosting outside

[CHORUS REPEAT] You're a big big girl in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if I leave you;
But you do do feel that you do do will
Miss me much...miss me much

[VERSE 2] Outside it's now hailing
And blood is oozing from your eyes
Why did it have to happen
Why did it all have to end

[CHORUS REPEAT] You're a big big girl in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if I leave you;
But you do do feel that you do do will
Miss me much...miss me much

[VERSE 3] You have your arms around me, girl on fire;
But when you open your eyes...I'm gone.

[CHORUS REPEAT] You're a big big girl in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if I leave you;
But you do do feel that you do do will
Miss me much...miss me much

[CHORUS REPEAT] You're a big big girl in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if I leave you;
But you do do feel that you do do will
Miss me much...miss me much
Play this prank on a friend that is easily tickled!

YOU: Good morning sir, I am a Secondary Four student from Raffles' Institution,
and I am conducting an investigation about
the average hip bone sizes of students. Can you help me?

YOU: Does the "resistance test" on your friend. (Puts your hand on friend's hip
and keeps "rolling" the bone. Experimented with Anselm, and
he says it REALLY hurts.)
Say this to annoy your friends:

YOU: 巫家坝,到了。请在此站自杀。自杀后
请马上去地狱。
上天堂的乘客请注意:
此巴士只开往地狱,

如果你想去天堂,请重新自杀一次。
上车的乘客请砍头,无头请投币心脏。
请往里走。

Nugget: "巫家坝" is the old airport for 昆明 in 云南.

...and that's it for the post!

Wishing all of you a happy poking season!
